Former Stow councilwoman reaches deal to resolve campaign finance disclosure case

The Ohio Ethics Fee has resolved its complaint towards previous Stow Councilwoman Christina Shaw over unfiled campaign finance statements.

For the duration of a sentencing hearing Tuesday in Franklin County Municipal Court, Shaw was ordered to pay $184 in court prices and incurred no other penalties after she entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor demand in April as portion of a offer with prosecutors, in accordance to court information.

Shaw was at first billed with failure to file she entered a responsible plea to an amended charge of attempted failure to file, in accordance to Pete Shipley, communications supervisor for the Columbus metropolis attorney’s workplace.
